The Tabares Philippine Market is family owned and operated. The first store was opened in 1999 in Wichita, Kansas and
was well received by the Filipino community. The Wichita store remained in operation for 8 years until we relocated to San
Antonio, Texas.
We offer a variety of authentic, homestyle cuisine, breads, and desserts native to the Philippine islands. Our baked items
are our specialty! We bake fresh, hot pandesal daily.
Stop in for lunch or dinner and try our combination plate. You get a choice of two sides (lechon, adobo, sinigang, caldereta,
bistek, dinuguan, kare-kare) with rice and lumpia shanghai for $5.50. Cool down with some gulaman at sago or halo-halo for
dessert...MMMmmm sarap!
